About Achieve YOUR Potential

First I would like to warmly welcome you to Achieve YOUR Potential! You are very welcome, and I am delighted to have you look through my web site. So...I expect you want to learn a little about me?Top

Professional background

Well, I'm Louise; a Professional Life Coach, based in Newcasle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. My passion has always been and remains to be helping the people that I meet. My back ground is in nursing. I was a staff nurse in various specialities covering a period of over ten years. During this decade I gained many practical nursing skills but more importantly for me I gained valuable people skills. I love people and now have a particular interest in Wellbeing Coaching which I guess you could say covers a huge area! Ha! Yes it does but my particular passion is raising confidence and self-esteem. My experience has taught me that no matter what problem a client comes to me with, if they are lacking in confidence or have low self worth or self-esteem the journey of change will be an enormous mountain to climb. What has absolutely amazed me is that once these problems have been dealt with and the individual has regained confidence and is feeling good about themselves they become empowered and further change is natural and the original goal can often fall into place with ease and pleasure.
There is little more rewarding to me in my professional life than to witness the evolution of a person's spirit! Top

My journey

Like many, I myself have been through such a process of growth and change. I once was someone lacking in self-confidence and constantly worried about what others thought. I laugh to myself (and often out loud) when new people I meet describe me as "Dead Confident" I sometimes don't realise that this is now who I am.......'A Confident Woman!' Just been that has attracted so many new, opportunities and people into my life. I myself describe it as travelling along life's journey, carrying bags of uncertainty, and boxes of useless beliefs and experiences. At the cross roads I exchanged the uncertainty for clarity and understanding of self (it was as though I suddenly knew myself and liked what I knew) and I also exchanged unhelpful beliefs and experiences for positive new thoughts. The result was a strong, confident woman and I would love to share this with any of you that need it.Top

Family life

I am married to Andrew, and we are blessed with three wonderful little people. I am kept fairly busy with three children, but ensure that I also make time for special friends and family.
When I do get any extra spare time I like to keep fit and healthy, and train with Lizzie Lea-Woodward. I was delighted and honoured when she asked me to be part of her Boost 4 Life team as her Wellbeing Coach.Top

Professional development

I actually became interested in Coaching after a course of coaching myself. I was so impressed with my results and felt so passionate about the positive changes that coaching brings about that I set about becoming a Life Coach and was delighted when I successfully completed my Life Coaching Diploma with the Life Coaching Institute with a Distinction. Since completing my Diploma I have become a practitioner in EFT I have studied NLP and I am a therapist in Indian Head Massage. I am continuing my Coaching studies with Britain's number one Coach Training Programme 'The Coaching Academy'. I am currently working towards a Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching.
I have so many professional aspirations now that I have to press the pause button, as I know I can't do everything at once.Top
